01 The label
Guarda Records is an independent record label based in Guarda, the highest city in Portugal, on the slopes of the Serra da Estrela. It is the home of B.Riddim, the project of producer Luis Sequeira, and of smooth, bass-heavy music with a dub heart.
The artist
Luis Sequeira studied classical piano as a child, found sampling and hip-hop as a teenager, and fell for Jamaican music along the way. As B.Riddim, Luis folds electronics into a dub sensibility, with releases on Third Ear, Monkey Dub and Dub Sundaes.

Guarda Records manages the rewindit.fm community: the independent radio station and music archive broadcasting from Guarda, and the hosts, artists and members who keep bringing you the essence of bass culture.
